It works, but it's only useful if you already have a strong knowledge of Go. Out of all the apps I've tried this one is one of the least beginner friendly. If you don't do exactly what the computer wants it only tells you "Wrong!" and refuses to elaborate, let alone play any further, even if your move is perfectly fine. At least it's actually free to play though and offers a lot of content without paying. Only get this app if you're already an experienced player.

150 free problems and a one-time all-access purchase option. Lovely, because I hate subscriptions. Solid simple app. 6 new problems every day. Could only be better if the difficulty indication was more precisely given in kyu/dan level, instead of 'beginner', 'elementary', 'easy', 'basic', 'intermediate', 'hard' and 'advanced'. Also some problems end very soon, so it is not always clear why the current board is the solution.

Good puzzles but lots of small issues that make the app annoying to use. These could be easily fixed! 1. Can't add favourites if it's a daily puzzle 2. Can't add favourites if it's in a "progress" session 3. If I accidentally go back and leave the "progress" session, there's no way to find the puzzle again. This happens a lot when I've made a mistake and I want to try again to find the solution. There are also some strange issues with menu icons showing twice sometimes, but this isn't so bad.
