It's very limiting on what you can do. A lot of links you click on, such as "More Reviews" and "Forums" lead you to the browser version, which I think is missing the point of having the app in the first place. It's a good way to check out what your friends are doing and quickly add new shows or books, but not for much else.

MyAnimeList is a great app for tracking anime and manga, with useful features like seasonal charts, news, and active forums. However, my experience is often ruined by redirect ads. These ads randomly send users to external sites or apps without any clicks, which is really annoying and bothering me everytime I open this app.

What's the point of having an app when every somewhat useful feature is accessible only by redirecting to the website. Aside from that all the titles are in Japanese or other native languages, and there is no way to change this. This app really doesn't offer much help other than just keeping track of the number of episodes/volumes of an anime/manga. Complete miss.
