“Sextortion Prevention” is a recreational-educational project designed and developed by ScreensAmigas and integrated into the SIC-SPAIN 4.0 Project.
Sextortion has its origins in blackmail carried out through the possession by the blackmailer of an intimate image of the victim. The purpose of this blackmail is usually to obtain money, control the will of the victim or sexually victimize them (very common in cases of internet grooming or gender cyber violence).
This free resource interactively emulates a sextortion situation and is aimed at young people and people in vulnerable situations.
Its objective is to help identify and make visible this form of sexual cyber violence, the strategies and dynamics behind this crime, raise awareness about the effects of sextortion and make known the appropriate responses and actions to stop and report, also as spectators, this type of blackmail.
For its use, a personalized code is required, which is obtained by requesting it through the reference website www.PrevencionSextorsion.es.
