if you like tactical games with a mixture of calculating (in regard of using ressources and perks) and luck, then you might like it. basically you play against your high score. alas there is no leadership board, so you can't compare your results with others. there is also bug, if you choose an additional favor (there are buildings, which give you this ability) and both require to choose a ressource (i.e. boon, yield): you then can't use either of the favors.

Being a paid app, there should absolutely never be locked content that is inaccessible because you have to literally perfect a round. If you were going to use something(crowns) to lock away layouts and settlements, we should at the least be able to earn one star for the completion of a settlement when score allows, or at most have the option to unlock all content in the settings menu. Having to perfect a round in order to advance in the game is ridiculous. I do not recommend this game.

If you like playing the board game (particularly solo), then you will love this app ! They did a fantastic job with a digital implementation. The visuals and sound are both fantastic and add to the charm. I am having lots of fun playing through all of the different settlements. If you have never played the board game, I highly recommend doing so before purchasing this digital version or at least watch a video to learn to play. The app's tutorial can be a letdown when teaching new players.
