Magic Lantern

The light I got is pretty cool but the app to change light styles and colors on sucks pretty bad. The app itself just has a horrible design to it. It could be easier to use but for some reason they make it a little hard to navigate. I also hate that you can't save color and style settings so that its easy to jump back and forth to the different colors and styles I like.

What a deception. In the ad, a page is shown on which the colour can be set per segment. This page does not exist. One cannot set the colour per segment. Furthermore, many colours on the strip do not correspond with those displayed in the app. For instance, the strip is not able to produce any proper yellow or white warm hue.

LEDs paired with this app tend to be good in general terms of lighting quality. However, I've noticed a pattern that destroys any good feedback. The app just like the remote my LED strip came with, the options on them/settings dont match the strip operation. You choose white and it turns it off. You choose purple on the app, the app then gives you green on the LED. App does not sync properly is my guess. Regardless if it wasn't for my kids, I'd be returning the item because of the app.
