Russell Herman Conwell (1843-1925) was a Baptist minister, orator, philanthropist, lawyer, and writer. He was the founder and first president of Temple University in Philadelphia and is the author of Acres of Diamonds. Denis honed his understanding of leadership, discipline and motivation at an early age as a Naval Academy graduate.
