Love blossoms in a winter storm...
When a snowstorm halts their mail coach days before Christmas, Rosie Harte doesn’t hesitate to offer shelter to a weary fellow traveller. Navy Sailing Master Andrew Hadfield has survived war and captivity, but nothing prepares him for the warmth he finds at Rosie’s farm—or the gentle kindness of his unexpected hostess.
Stranded together as the snow falls, Rosie and Andy discover comfort, laughter, and a growing hope that melts the ice around his battle-scarred heart. But with duty calling and the storm fading, will Andy be able to say goodbye to his Christmas angel—or will he fight for the chance to stay?

🏡 Small-town romance
I started writing Regencies because of interest in the Napoleonic Wars. I like writing about warfare at sea and ordinary people of the British Isles, rather than lords and ladies. In my spare time I like to read British crime fiction and history, particularly the U.S. Indian Wars. I currently live in Utah. I'm a former park ranger, and double Rita Award and Spur Award winner. I have five interesting children and four grands. Favorite authors include Robert Crais and Richard Woodman.
