A big, powerful gray feline, Joe Grey is perfectly content with his remarkable ability to understand and communicate with humans—especially now that he has company. Shirley Rousseau Murphy is a noted children’s book author who has received several Dixie Council of Authors and Journalists Awards. She is also the author of the popular Joe Grey mystery series for adults, for which she has received nearly a dozen national Cat Writers’ Association Muse Medallions. She and her husband live in Carmel, California, where they serve as full-time household help for two demanding feline ladies.
Susan Boyce is the award-winning narrator of over 140 audiobooks. She performs in variety theater, is one half of the song-and-dance team of Jones & Boyce, and holds a degree in theater and biology. She can be heard in phone trees, in computer games, and as the voice of the pink “Care Bear.” She lives in St. Augustine, Florida, and summers in Greenville, Maine.
