Childhood I was born and grew up in Kazakhstan. At the age of 4 I discovered my passion for drawing. I could enhance my skills in painting after I visited a local art school. The chance to learn almost all art techniques like academic drawing, painting with watercolours and oil should stays with me for my whole lifetime so far and it kept always the door open for my art passion. I grew up with our own farm animals and an intense closeness to the nature. Due to this fact there is still a huge respect to all creatures and the nature itself and its power. (In my memories Kazakhstan was a place with 50° C in the summer with steppe all around and -40° C in the winter with meter deep snow.) It was a normal everyday life to play in the yards with kids from different ethnic groups. As Kazakhstan was a big bucket full of different nations and cultures (which arose historically) - Germans, Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Koreans, Chineses, Tatars. New life In 1996 at the age of 11 I migrated with my family to Germany as so-called 'ethnic German resettlers'. Since then my creativity art process has taken a break for a while. But from time to time I kept creating art and never stop thinking to be an artist one day. A dream come true In February 2020 I become a father. One month before I quit my IT job and actually find my way since then to fulfill my dream to be an ARTIST. I reside in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany near to Frankfurt (Main) with my wonderful wife and my little inquisitive son. Despite the focus on freelance projects for children's book illustrations I am available for any kind of individual artwork commissions. I use both traditional and digital media.
