Growing Up Spiritually is worth reading! It will bring you into realms of unprecedented fellowship with God and His Spirit. Whether in Africa, Australia, Asia, South America, Europe, North America or the USA, no Christian can outgrow the need for spiritual growth. If you and I think spiritual growth is only for those who just got born again yesterday, then we have missed it entirely. As long as God remains on the throne, we can’t outgrow Him in every way. Hence, the need for us to thirst and hunger for Him and to grow more and more in Christ Jesus.
Just because you are a prophet, pastor, teacher, apostle, or founder of some ministry, that does not exempt you from spiritual growth. However, if you think you have arrived at your spirituality and you don’t need to grow up, just know you are standing on dangerous ground. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” Each time you think you know it all and you don’t need to grow up anymore, just know that is pride at work. Then, we already know that proud people never last long in the race of life.
