Leander is in a disgusting situation. Yes, he's a knight. His armor used to be shiny, but now it is coated in green guck as he steps through Spiknit Woods. He's on a mission. What kind of mission? He doesn't exactly know. His quest is to go to a castle on the edge of the domain and do whatever the loyal taxpayers require. Lucky for him, it's to kidnap the Maiden in the red dress. With one eyebrow cocked, there is absolutely nothing Leander cannot do.

Y'all! It was AWESOME. I didn't expect many of the twists and turns in this story. The layers of storytelling going on were exceptional. The ending is also really great. I appreciated everything about this. I've read it in ebook form, but enjoyed listening to it, too.

About the author
Stephanie Van Orman writes books like she's part printer. She writes romantic comedies, romantic science fiction comedies, romantic fantasy (both low and high), and sometimes she writes horror. Is it romantic horror? May as well find out.
