Does happily-ever-after really exist?

Arden doesn't think so. After watching her parents' messy divorce, she's convinced that love doesn't last forever—and she can't understand why her sister, Laurel, would want to get married. Arden tries to keep her doubts to herself, but during her maid-of-honor speech at the welcome dinner, her true feelings about marriage slip out in spectacular fashion.

The next morning, Arden wakes to a nightmare: Laurel has turned runaway bride. Convinced her sister's disappearance is her fault, Arden scrambles to find her before anyone else realizes she's missing—especially the groom. Desperate to make things right, she teams up with the groom's charming but off-limits brother, Shep, to search the city.

As the clock ticks down, Arden starts to question everything she thought she knew about happy endings. Maybe love isn't as impossible—or as complicated—as she always believed.
