About this audiobook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed.

His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk.

A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

Lee Child's Reacher series is a classic that has spawned almost thirty books, two movies and a tv series. For a franchise that strong, lee Child and his brother Andrew, must be doing something right. this time, Reacher wakes up to find himself handcuffed to a bed with no idea how he got there. Let's just say, that he doesn't stay captive for long. This novel has all the action one would expect from the series and lots of plot twists to keep the reader guessing.

In my humble opinion, the best book in the series. So many twists and turns and the character development was incredible. Simple but so important to the overall story.

Scott Brick is not the man for the job. Mostly monotone. can't tell the difference between characters. no difference in pace or inflection during speech from the different characters for the most part. probably the last audio version I'll purchase. plot was predictable. characters were one dimensional. Bring the old style Reacher back or stop writing them.
