New Mexico, 1935. When Georgia's lover Sheriff Ryan McCaffrey comes to town unannounced, things get more complicated, and Georgia suddenly finds herself in a complex tangle of revenge, international espionage, Nazis, and thugs that will require all her artistic sensibilities and amateur sleuthing skills to unravel!

Kathryn Lasky is the award winning author of many children's books as well as several adult novels including Night Gardening and the Calista Jacobs mystery series. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Nancy Peterson, winner of the prestigious Audie Award, is a veteran actor and voice-over artist. Nancy has a penchant for dialects, diving deep into the study of language. Her narration style, summed up by AudioFile magazine, "creates the sense of listening to a play instead of a straightforward reading."
