Rather than complicated theory, the book offers a conceptual overview along with five case studies of resilience thinking in the real world.

David Salt is the editor of the Centre of Excellence for Environmental Decisions's bimonthly magazine, Decision Point. He has served as the Communications Manager for CSIRO Wildlife and Ecology and coauthored the widely acclaimed texts Resilience Thinking, Resilience Practice, and Trees and Biodiversity.
Tom Bromhead is a uniquely international voice artist. Having grown up in Australia and England has given him an ear for accents and characters, including the GEICO Gecko, whom he voiced for several years. Tom has also starred in commercials and performed voices for video games and animated series. He lives in Los Angeles.
