I love anything by Sue Moorcroft but I have to admit that this one lacked something for me. Maybe it was because I couldn't reconcile Elle's apparently high-flying, well-paid job with redundancy pay with a woman who couldn't afford to pay for alternative accommodation. Anyway, it was a pleasant second-chance romance set on Malta. Read on my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
