What is Time Based Currency
An alternative currency or exchange system that uses the person-hour or any other time unit as the unit of account is referred to as a time-based currency in the field of economics. In these types of systems, one individual donates their time to work for another individual for a period of one hour. As a result, the individual receives credit for one hour, which they may then exchange for an additional hour of labor from another volunteer.
