Meet SAGE POE—witch, reluctant consultant to the sheriff's department, and woman who just wanted some damn pancakes. Enter SHERIFF EMMET QUILL—lawman with a newfound respect for the supernatural and the only person in town who takes his coffee darker than the entity lurking beneath the diner. He may now believe in magic, but he still needs evidence . . . and maybe a chance to finally define whatever's cooking between him and Sage.
