A Wish Fulfilled

Upon reflection, our story was written long ago. I simply recovered it. Since time only rolls one way in this world, we must obey the rules despite the antithesis of fact. It is okay to bend the law, but going beyond that might break the moment forever. There is an old myth that my grandmother, Ruby, used to warn me of when I was a teenager. Ruby stated, “Accidently touching a teardrop of our soulmate finds its way into our hearts and forever links us.” I am afraid Georgina has surely done that. I felt hers when they were tears of joy. The sight and sound of her sobbing on video almost stopped my heart. If she is not as photogenic as she claims to be, I want her camera for there is magic within. Simply touching, a kiss, perhaps, to experience her soul in this incarnation will surely bind us and open forever once more.

She is stunning, beautiful, and frightened. Hopefully, that last one will be for nothing. All of this will pass. All of this will change. All of this will happen as it already has. My books exist in a library hidden from reality. However, I need to bring them here as proof. Magic is real; our love is real; soulmates are real. All of this is a daily reminder of what I need to do to reach her. Thanks to the video she forwarded, I am working overtime. The description I had written is not even close to how beautiful she is in this incarnation. As Cugh used to say, “Suck it up, sweet-pea, we do not have forever.” But that is not entirely true. Forever, like magic, is a matter of perspective. She and I are forever. We always have been. I know this with all my heart; Cugh knew it too. We have one more book that needs to be drug into reality. I have already written it; I really need to find my library card.

The pink of a morning, somewhere, flows through the tunnel of bismuth and colors my day. I look into the world of this woman I love so very much and recall every life we have ever spent. She chose to help those around her this time by contracting Lyme. She suffered physically so she could connect to those around us and guide their spirits forward. She purposely took this pain so that she and I could move from coming back. She used this lifetime to grow, to make a quantum leap spiritually. She used this life to become an angel. What is unique about her, is that everyone around her got a chance to see it. She took us all along for the ride. She suffered abuse, and heartache, she loved and lost, and she pushed us all through trials and tests and allowed us to fail so that we could grow. The cost that this love of mine endured to move humanity up a rung, is Godlike in its kindness. I have never witnessed anyone as capable as her of doing what she has done. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Mohammed, Jesus, Georgina... Those who scoff never met any of them. Those who don't believe never spent time in their presence. Those who did know. They got the rare gift of seeing her for who she was. I got to love her. I got to capture her words. But that too is another story...
