Abdul Aziz, M.Pd is an accomplished academic and researcher with a deep-rooted passion for education and innovation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English Education from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in 2011. He continued his academic journey at the same university, completing his Master’s degree in Education Policy and Development in 2014.
Driven by a strong commitment to research, Abdul Aziz has received numerous competitive research grants over the years. In 2020, he designed a character education model based on the local wisdom of the Dayak Ngaju language, which was successfully implemented in elementary schools in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. That same year, he also conducted a significant regional development study on growth poles and hinterlands in Central Kalimantan Province.
His dedication to improving English language education is evident in his 2021 research project, where he explored the use of bilingual Wordwall media to enhance students’ English skills at SMPN Satap 3 Hanau in Paring Raya Village. His scholarly contributions have been published widely, including works such as “Cluster Analysis of Open Labor Data by Province Using K-Means Algorithm” and “Personalized Learning for Students with Special Needs: Empirical Evidence from Indonesia”, both released in 2023.
Beyond research, Abdul Aziz has contributed to the development of decision support systems, character education models rooted in indigenous language, and the integration of e-learning technologies in English instruction. Through his work, he continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education in Indonesia.
