Prof. Abhijit Bandyopadhyay is a full Professor in the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, University of Calcutta, India. He is also the Technical Director of South Asia Rubber & Polymers Park (SARPOL), West Bengal. He has more than 100 publications in various renowned international journals. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experience. His main areas of research include Hyperbranched Polymers for Industrial and Bioapplications, Photophysical Properties of Polymers, Polymer Nanocomposites, Polymer Blends and Composites, and Polymer 3D Printing.
Srijoni Sengupta has completed her B.Tech and M.Tech from the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, University of Calcutta, India (2010-2015), and PhD from the same university in 2022. Her research interest includes synthesis of architectural polymers, its characterization and its applications.
Sayan Basak has completed his B.Tech from the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, University of Calcutta, India (2015-2019), and is currently pursuing his PhD from the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Akron, USA. His undergraduate research interests, along with his present research domain, revolve around working with thermoplastic elastomers and multi-component polymer systems, prospecting into new materials to develop smart polymer materials for new-age applications.
