About this ebook

‘The Shadows of Rainbows’ is a heartfelt journey through the messy yet beautiful range of human emotions and a bit of abstract thoughts. It's mainly about the moments that make us feel alive—love, loss, hope, fear, and everything in between. Written with different emotional drives and a touch of raw vulnerability, these poems invite you to see yourself in the words, to feel less alone in your feelings, and to find comfort in the collective threads of human life. It’s a quiet reminder that our emotions, no matter how complicated, connect us all.

About the author

The Author, Abhijith Kala Girish is an Electrical Engineer by profession who lives alone with his thoughts in the busy city of Cochin. Originally from the less noisy and peaceful south side of Kerala, Pathanamthitta. He is an easygoing soul who finds joy in translating abstract thoughts and feelings into words whenever time allows. His writings are mostly the byproducts of uncalled-for emotional fallouts or brain-brewing strings of randomized unconventional thoughts.

With a genuine love for music of all genres, he often lets beats inspire and improvise his writing and his mood. An animal lover at heart, he enjoys spending time with them, finding comfort in their presence. Capturing the unseen perspectives of the usual sights and framing the fleeting, unnoticed scenes through a camera lens lights his creative spirit. A true movie buff, he’s always eager to lose himself in a nicely crafted film.
