About the author

Akshata Singh is a 14-year-old girl studying in 10th grade in Delhi Public School, Kalyanpur, Kanpur. She is a high schooler and thus was excited to write down the high school experiences she senses around her. She is very fond of writing and literature. She is a bronze medalist in National Science Olympiad. Being good in literature, she is also curious about science. She truly believes that her grandmother’s and her mother’s valuable life lessons have nurtured her. She was also awarded by Adopt Foundation for helping orphans in kind and generous ways. She thinks that everything around her is beautiful and has some speciality. She loves nature and the environment and has won first prize in the slogan competition ‘Moksha ­­­­– A Sankalp’ to set eco-peace and has also participated in many eco-peace rallies. She is fond of hosting events and has won many prizes in debates and speaking skill competitions. At last, she says, “Life is a story; you just need to write it.”
