Really enjoyed this one! Command was book 2, but can be read as a stand-alone. It was a dark, enemies to lovers trope and I liked the way the author wrote it. I’m sorta picky about how it’s supposed to work and she does an excellent job making me believe it. It was fast paced and interesting. And it was wild how they were able to be together. Alexandra Norton has a real talent for this genre and she’s an automatic read for me. I received an ARC for free, and I am writing this voluntarily.

Rating: 5⭐️ Spice: 3.5 🌶 "It was a violent crash of souls— their minds building tethers that knotted and cinched as if by primal recognition." After the absolute cliffhanger in Colossal, Command immediately picks up where we left off. I absolutely loved this one. From the beginning, I was hooked. Alina' character drew me in. Her reactions seemed almost normal compared to Kaia. Between the action, betrayals, forbidden romance, and the spice, I couldn't put it down. This one is definitely my favorite so far, and I can't wait to see how the story will continue for the characters and how they will learn to co-exist after the ending of this one.

I am thrilled to finally get my hands on Alexandra Norton's newest book, Command: Secret Alien Romance, which is the sequel to Colossal: Dark Romance in Deep Space. I love this entire series, all part of the author's Hearts With Teeth series, and I have waited impatiently for this one. I was so excited to find it was even better than the previous books. This story starts as the space colony ship, the Colossal, is captured and invaded by the Uhyre, a lethal, brutal alien race; a race who once invaded earth, nearly destroying it, with their poisonous, addicting exorin compromising the human race. Threxin, the morally gray alien commander, is determined to take control of the ship to save his people from their desolate, dying planet. His logic leads him to care nothing for the humans, a lesser race, who are led by Orion, their commander, a mixed breed of human and Uhyre, and he would be happy to kill them all by venting them into space. He needs the former commander, however, in or
