This had everything that I was expecting from the series and world. I enjoyed the overall feel of this historical romance. It uses the Regency element in a way that worked overall and was glad I got to go back to this world. The characters had that feel that I was looking for and glad I was able to read this. Alyssa Drake has a strong writing style and can't wait for more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book was really good, I enjoyed it. There is a mystery, a murder and a villain. I wondered how long it would take Helena’s secret to come out and Levi Overton is of course the next Duke to fall, not sure who will be the last yet. This is such a intriguing and interesting historical romance about mistaken identity and a little deceit. I was completely engrossed in this story from the very beginning to the very end. The story is about Eveline and Levi, Duke of Lennox. This is such a good story with drama, secrets, passion, truth, trust, love and good twists. I love the characters.
