Lindsey is a corporate event coordinator currently keeping a lid on the chaos in Vegas. She loves her job working with the company’s brilliant young people, but it can be very challenging and leaves little time for her own love life. Also, she is realizing that her bachelor’s degree from Cornell and MBA from Northwestern should be taking her further than a dead-end job cleaning up after people who over-indulge and running around trying to fix things at the events. It’s time for a change! She’s been thinking about starting her own business, and a huge request for event planning just arrived in a text message. This could be her big start! When she leaves, her assistant will take her current job – but he is such a wuss and doesn’t know how to handle people without calling for her. Oh well… Michael has been attracted to Lindsey for some time, but he has a rule about dating employees. When they get stuck in the elevator in Vegas, things get carried away. He had noticed she seemed to be flirting with him and he liked it. As the elevator moves suddenly then jerks to a stop again, they are thrown into each other. But Michael pulls back, citing his office rule until she tells him she doesn’t work for him anymore because she just gave notice and is starting her own business. So both agree that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and they make up for lost time! What will happen when he cools down enough to realize she’s leaving! Will he be able to coax her back? Will she want to come back and give up her dream? Or is she willing to find a new dream? I enjoyed this book. It is a cute story and the characters are likable so that the reader wants their happiness too. The story has good pacing and it’s a fun read.

I really loved this book. It was intense, dramatic, heart warming and made compulsive reading. Cynthia is a woman who fears for her life after becoming a whistle blower to the FBI. Her love interest is Todd an investment banker and new to San Francisco. They begin as friends but soon become much more, eventually falling in love. I loved this book, each page tempting me to read the next. I loved the characters in the book, the friendships between work mates, the honesty of doing what is right in a difficult situation. This book was the complete deal! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book

Michael has it bad for Lindsey but as a rule he doesn't date employees. They dance around each other in the office with him getting in a lot of walking just to be in the presence of Lindsey. This is a really cute story and when they finally get it together, they will have you cheering them on as their relationship unfolds within the story.
