Review for both volume. It was a decent read albeit a bit short thus not a lot of world building and relationship development between the character. Plot is very linear and predictable but it's do it job. The action scene is quite bad though. The main characters being quite charming is the saving grace. TLDR: Decent short story. Edit: Mild Yuri. (Bit of Kiss and stuff)

Great book with well fleshed out female characters that go against the trend in a male-dominated world. Tanya Artimiciov and Laplace may seem way too overpowered, almost Mary sue-ish, but it is well balanced with great characterisations of them, so that it isn't overwhelming. And the hints of the seemingly very interesting history of Laplace promise more fun in the novels to come. Definite buy recommendation for all that want to read a comedic, yet socio-critical fantasy adventure!
