An Invitation to Be Exceptional

The Nordic countries are known for successful societal transformations that have improved the quality of life. Our built environment has always reflected these transformations and as we have entered the current multi-crisis era, the perception and the physical reality of the built environment must once again be transformed. In this report, we present a narrative for the Nordic Baukultur, a vision of how the Nordic built environment could be truly sustainable and work for the best of the planet and people. The vision and its five principles stem from Nordic culture and heritage, and lean towards the future.
