About the author

Andrew Brahamis associate professor of civil engineering at the University of Arkansas. He was a visiting associate professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Barcelona, Spain; a postdoctoral research fellow at Southeast University, in Nanjing, China; and a graduate research assistant at the Illinois Leadership Center. In addition, he worked as a field and research engineer for Koch Materials Company. He coauthored Fundamentals of Sustainability in Civil Engineering.

Matthew Walleris dean of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, where he also holds the Sam M. Walton Leadership Chair and is a professor of supply chain management. He is the coauthor of The Definitive Guide to Inventory Management, Purple on the Inside: How J. B. Hunt Transport Set Itself Apart in a Field Full of Brown Cows, Integrating Blockchain into Supply Chain Management: A Toolkit for Practical Implementation, and The Dean’s List: Leading a Modern Business School.

John Englishis vice-chancellor for the Division of Research and Innovation at the University of Arkansas and professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering. He served for more than seven years as dean of the College of Engineering and held the Irma R. and Raymond F. Giffels Endowed Chair in Engineering at the University of Arkansas. Before that, he was dean of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University, where he held the LeRoy C. and Aileen H. Paslay Chair in Engineering.
