Raven’s secret is out, and she’s pretty sure that there’s a hell of a lot more angels who want her dead. She thought that her life was in jeopardy living in the citadel under Rieka’s watchful eye, but nothing could have prepared her for being truly behind enemy lines in the Seraphan’s stronghold.

The path to escape means that Raven will not only have to put her trust in angels that she never expected to, but also learn to play a dangerous game of chess with an angel who’s known for his skills. Raven might be a master at pretending to be someone she’s not…but even she has her limits.
