Dafür wurde die Methode der Kationenaustauschchromatografie aufgrund des hohen isoelektrischen Punkts von Lysozym ausgewählt. Die erhaltenen Fraktionen der Chromatografie wurden auf den Proteingehalt und die Lysozymaktivität durch eine fotometrische Messung untersucht. Der Erfolg der Reinigung und Anreicherung durch eine SDSPage kontrolliert und bestätigt.
