The cricket field was and still is the geographical and social centre of the neighbourhood where I grew up. From age six to twelve, I often played with my cousins and friends. On Sundays I looked forward to watching the games, first the older players in the parish league and later my own companions who joined the league when they were old enough. Over the years the game of cricket has evolved, and my love of the game has deepened. This love I would like to share with my grandsons. I live in Toronto, Ontario, and St. George’s Grenada.
