Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle M.D. (* 22. Mai 1859 in Edinburgh, Schottland; † 7. Juli 1930 in Crowborough, Sussex, England) war ein britischer Arzt und Schriftsteller. Er veröffentlichte die Abenteuer von Sherlock Holmes und dessen Freund Dr. Watson.
