This book is the first volume of Mewati Doha Poetry which is written under the main topic MEWATI LOK SAHITYA. Some other volumes will be published soon on Mewati Doha and Types of Mewati Poetry like Ghazal, Ratwayi, Singalwati, Baat and PandoonkaKada etc. Mewati poetry is basically going on in oral tradition. By writing this book I tried to save this irreplaceable asset.
About the author
Original Name: Abdul Aziz Writes by the name of Aziz SahsolaMeo Belongs to Sahsola village of MewatDistt of Haryana India. He completed his Graduation and B.Ed from JamiaMilliaIslamia New Delhi. He did his M.A and M.phil from JNU New Delhi and currently pursuing his PhD from JNU New Delhi on the topic ‘Mewati Folk Literature’. Many articles have been published in research journals on Mewati Folk literature.
