Sriparna Bandyopadhyay

Born in 5th December 1971 the stubborn writer has placed herself distinctly in the Bengali literary field. After completing BSc (Chemitry major), BEd and MBA from Burdwan University, Sriparna started her career in a pharmaceutical company. Enduring some turmoil in her early profession Sriparna anchored in the literary field in 2010 and since then she is contributing fictions, poems, juvenile literature, articles, features, travelogues, reviews etc as well as English Contents to different magazines, dailies and websites. Though the journey commenced with poetry, Sriparna’s prose is highly acknowledged. She is specially commited to yield researched articles and essays on Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, History as well as Politics from her social and gender concern. However, the literary recognition achieved so far are mainly due to her creative contributions like short stories and novel. Though she is known for her serious writing, good sense of humore is inherent in her creation.
