Bam Deo Pandey
Dr Bam Deo Pandey (born in 1974, in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh) is an Assistant-Professor in Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi. With a good academic record, he started his research career in 1997 in fisheries as a Senior Research Fellow at the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (Deemed University), Mumbai. He passed CSIR-UGC (NET) in 2001. He obtained Ph.D. degree in Zoology in 2002 from the University of Mumbai. In 2004, he was selected for the two year (April 2005-March 2007) MONBUKAGAKUSHO Scholarship at the Nagasaki University, Japan. He has also visited Taiwan and erstwhile USSR for academic purposes. He has published 12 research papers with first authorship in many national and international peer-reviewed journals of high repute. Further he has few research papers in proceedings of seminars. Dr Pandey is very active as a reviewer for certain international journals and book publishers. Besides being a life member of various national/international academic bodies, he is a member of the Bio Science Writers, Houstan, Texas, United States. His biography has also been included in the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. Similarly his contribution in science is evident in Marquis Who is Who in the World (Edition 2010).
