Baoxue Yang is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacology at Peking University. Prof. Yang has been studying urea transporters, including molecular biology, physiology, structural biology, pharmacology, etc., since 1997. He has published more than 170 original research articles in related fields. His H-factor is 52.
Jeff M. Sands is the Juha P. Kokko Professor of Medicine and Physiology, Director of the Renal Division, and Executive Vice-Chair of the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Sands' research focuses on urea transport proteins and the urine concentrating mechanisms.
