In 2003 verraste Bart Moeyaert met het veelbekroonde, in acht talen verschenen De Schepping. Waar dat verhaal eindigde, begon in 2010 Het Paradijs, het poëtische resultaat van een nieuwe samenwerking tussen Moeyaert en het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble. De muziek van Joseph Haydn sloot feilloos aan bij de tekst. In 2015 voltooiden ze samen de Haydn-cyclus met De Hemel.
De Schepping, Het Paradijs en De Hemel worden nu voor het eerst samengebracht, geïllustreerd door Peter Van den Ende, die recent furore maakte met de graphic novel Zwerveling.
