Academy Of Beasts IX: Shifter Romance

Things are getting intense between Fiona and her guys, and make no mistake, whether they've all admitted it or not, these are her guys. She's finally attempting to assert some control over her life, and I have to say that her little impromptu meeting in this book is one of my favorite scenes of the whole serial to date. Of course, each book has some pretty terrific dialogue and scenes, but there was just something about this one. I will say that a favorite character kind of left a bad taste in my mouth with a very childish prank, but thankfully, he's a completely redeemable character even if he does have a bit more arrogance than anyone has a right to. He may not be there yet in terms of redemption, but I have no doubt that he'll get there. We also get a bit more of the mysterious Dracus - maybe not as much as I've been hoping for, but still more than we've gotten so far, so I have hope for much more of the sexy dragon. All in all, another great addition to the serial - a solid bit of suspense, angst, and action, some romance, and just enough to leave us wanting more. I'm loving this shifter serial, and I can't wait for more answers.

I enjoyed reading this series, it has a good storyline, is filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
