About the author

Dr. Berita Mambarasi Nehe, M.Pd., is a dedicated academic and lecturer at Universitas Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung, specializing in English Language Education. With a passion for enhancing the quality of education, She is currently engaged in various research projects and academic activities, particularly focusing on English language learning and teaching methodologies. In addition to teaching, Dr. Berita is deeply involved in educational research, contributing to the fields of language education, project-based learning, and the use of technology in enhancing classroom learning. Her work has also extended internationally, collaborating with experts from Malaysia and presenting research at various conferences. As Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung, Dr. Berita plays a vital role in shaping academic policies and promoting innovative teaching practices. Her research interests also extend to understanding the cultural adaptation of international students and exploring the use of multimedia resources in enhancing students’ language skills. 

Imansyah, born on September 6, 1986, is an English lecturer actively teaching at various universities and other institutions. He began his career as a lecturer in 2008 and has taught at several universities on Lombok Island. In addition to teaching English to students, he also provides TOEFL preparation training in various institutions. In 2013, he was officially appointed as a permanent lecturer in the English Education Study Program at the Faculty of Culture, Management, and Business, Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika.

Ahmad Khoirul Akhir Tanjung (A.K.A. IIR), earned his Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Education from Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (previously) or Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (currently) in 2009. Upon graduation in 2009, he started his career as an English teacher in SMP Negeri 2 Aek Kuasan, Asahan, Sumatera Utara. To achieve his ambition to be a lecturer, he continued his study to master degree at Universitas Negeri Medan, in English Applied Linguistics study program. And he got his master degree in 2017. The writer began his career as an English lecturer and researcher at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya in 2022. Besides as a lecturer, he is active in doing research, doing community service, publishing articles and writing books.  

The author is a lecturer at the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Social and Humanities, Putera Batam University. He completed his undergraduate deegre at the Department of English Education at Universitas Negeri Medan in 1999 and continued his Masters at the Department of English Education at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST) Yogyakarta in 2015. The author is interested in Phonology and Pragmatics.

Hartati Suryaningsih is a Junior Lecturer in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. She earned her Master Degree in Teaching English to the Speaker of Other Languages (TESOL) at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), USA. She was a Fulbright grantee in 2012 – 2014 and also Indonesia English Language Study Program (IELSP) grantee in 2008 at Syracuse University, USA. Besides teaching, she also actively participates as the member of Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia (Association of Indonesian Translators). Her interests are in the areas of Language Assessment, Language and Identity, English Language Teaching, and Interpreting and Translation. 

My name is Maryance Ferawati Tamelab, M.Pd., and I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Christian Education, Early Childhood Christian Education Study Program, at the State Institute of Christian Religion (IAKN) Kupang. I was born in Naibatu on May 6, 1986. I completed my undergraduate studies in the English Language Education Program at Nusa Cendana University in 2010 and later pursued a master's degree in English Education at the same university. After completing my master's degree, I became an academic and joined STAKN Kupang as a lecturer. As a lecturer, I teach English courses and am also involved in language research. I believe that as a lecturer, I have a responsibility to make a positive contribution to the academic world and society. I hope my writings can provide a better understanding of English language learning. 

Rahmadila Eka Putri is an English lecturer at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, specializing in applied linguistics. She completed her undergraduate studies in English Education at Universitas Negeri Padang and later pursued the Teacher Professional Education program at the same university. Rahmadila earned her master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Her research focuses on the application of applied linguistics in language learning and teaching development, as well as discourse analysis. As an academic, Rahmadila is committed to continuously contributing to the advancement of applied linguistics through teaching, research, and community service.

Chanti Diananseri, M.Pd., born in Jakarta on June 26, 1986, is an educator with a Master’s degree in English Language Education from Universitas Negeri Padang, which she obtained in 2016. Currently serving as a lecturer in English Language Education Department at Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang since 2021, Chanti is deeply committed to fostering language learning and teaching excellence. Beyond her role as an educator, she holds positions of leadership, serving as the Head of the International Office. She is also appointed as an instructor for the English Language Teacher Training (ELTT 3) program under the Jakarta Regional English Language Officer at the US Embassy. In this capacity, she trains English language teachers throughout Indonesia in the effective use of English as a medium of instruction (Teaching English through English), contributing significantly to the enhancement of English language teaching practices nationwide.

Born and raised in Palembang, Aisyah has spent approximately 14 years teaching English. With a strong interest in linguistics and education, Aisyah hopes to write more books to share her knowledge and experiences with many people, as well as to inspire anyone who wants to improve their English in a more enjoyable and practical way. 

Mutiana Nurmalasari B, S.Pd., M.Pd. is an English Lecturer at Universitas Garut. She holds a Master’s degree of English Education in Universitas Sebelas Maret and has been teaching English since 2017. She has extensive professional experience in the field of English language education. Currently, she serves as the Chairperson of the Language Centre at Universitas Garut, where she leads various initiatives related to language development and educational programs. Mutiana Nurmalasari specializes in English education and has made significant contributions to curriculum development and research in her field.
