Er ist ein genauer Beobachter der Leute 'wie du und ich' im Ruhrgebiet und schildert kleine, oft absurde Szenen, die sich überall in der Republik zutragen könnten. Auch bei seinen Erinnerungen und (Er-)Findungen zu früheren Lebensphasen oder bei Nachrufen scheut er das offene Wort nicht. Und doch befinden sich in direkter Nachbarschaft zur Abrechnung Menschenfreundlichkeit und Lachlust, ohne die ein Alltag schwer erträglich wäre.
About the author
Bernd Berke, geb. 1952 in Geisa/Rhön, kurz darauf schon Dortmunder. Studium der Germanistik und Geschichte an der Ruhr-Uni Bochum, ab 1982 langjähriger Kulturredakteur der Westfälischen Rundschau, freier Autor und Kulturblogger. Er lebt mit Frau, Tochter und Kater in Dortmund.
