I usually enjoy the characters in these books however this book jumped around a lot. What happened to her brother? No reference of him after chapter 1. With needing to take care of her mother and having 2 jobs she seemed extremely needy and not independent at all after getting married. I feel like she turned into her mother and couldn't do anything herself. I did not like this book after the first few chapters.
