Chemical reactions related to living beings are studied under biochemistry. As the name suggests both biology and chemistry are encompassed under this subject. It is the functions,  composition and structure of the substances that make up a living organism. In this book, our focus will be on the chemical processes that are going on in the human body in particular. It is the study of the constituents of cells such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and other biomolecules, and also of their structure functions and transformations that occuring during a life process.

Acerca del autor

Gurvinder Singh passed his xii in 1993, then he served in various colleges at the scale of Associate Professor. Now he is a freelancer and teaches a variety of subjects. He holds an ME degree from IET, DAVV, Indore. The author has six books to his credit namely, Data Communications, ATM Networks, Dictionary of Bioinformatics, Dictionary of Information and Technology, Dictionary of Electronics, and Dictionary of Power Systems and Electrical Engineering to his credit. This book has been completed with the help and idea of his daughter Pranika Bhasin, who is currently studying in XI class in St. Arnold school Vijaynagar, Indore. She is also the co-author of the book.
