Prof. Dr. Birgit Pfau-Effinger ist Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Sozialstrukturanalyse an der Universität Hamburg.
Sonja Buschka ist studierte Soziologin und Philosophin (M.A.) sowie Gründungsmitglied der „Group for Society and Animals Studies“ an der Universität Hamburg, welche sich schwerpunktmäßig mit der Analyse von Ambivalenzen im Verhältnis der Gesellschaft zu Tieren beschäftigt.
