Steven Orchard, an auxiliary nurse rediscovers his powers of healing, with almost a near-death experience after he performs these powers. Though, as he heals more patients, under no circumstances does he wish to be found out.
The story involves deception, as a reporter is on his trail, danger in search of his girlfriend, robbery and murder, and the inevitable falling for the wife of an accident victim, which results in a strong intimate affair, leading to an unexpected and sad end or does it?

The author, a poet, artist and composer, started writing in late 2009. At the present time has written over 400 poems; completed nearly six fictional novels, Divided Majesty being his second. With the exception of inclusion in local media, the talking newspaper, earlier works have not been promoted. His first novel was expanded from the poem, ‘Isabel and the Highwaymen’, and published as the novel, Stand and Deliver. Poetry has since taken second place to his storytelling, which cover a variety of subjects from historic fiction to present-day fantasy thrillers with love and sometimes comic themes, all capturing the unusual aspect of life, often with tragic endings.
