Musk is an extremely agile writer. This you find out immediately after beginning to read. She is a master at description, plotting and character creation. I didn't know the name Jess Shepard before I started reading, but now the name, the character, the person is a sharply defined as well known figures of history and just if not more fascinating. Reading this has been a true pleasure. I can't wait to pick up the next book.
