About the author

Professor Brett Kahr is Senior Fellow at the Tavistock Institute of Medical Psychology in London; Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Psychotherapy and Mental Health at the Centre for Child Mental Health; Consultant to The Bowlby Centre; and Consultant Psychotherapist to The Balint Consultancy. Kahr is a Trustee of the Freud Museum London and of Freud Museum Publications. He is the author or editor of eleven books. He has worked in the field of media psychology for many years and held the post of Resident Psychotherapist on BBC Radio 2.
