Every Tuesday night at exactly 11:05, a ruthless serial killer strikes in Belfast.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Sheehan’s Serious Crimes Unit has been shaken by retirements and promotions, leaving him in need of a new sergeant. He appoints Denise Stewart — a sharp, determined officer who exposed deep corruption in her last posting, sending her superior and several colleagues to prison.
But Stewart’s past has made her enemies. Soon after joining Sheehan’s team, she becomes the target of a violent, unknown assailant.
As she works around the clock to profile the killer, the attacks escalate.
With Belfast gripped by fear and the clock ticking toward the next Tuesday night murder, Stewart must earn the trust of her new unit and prove she belongs — before the predator she’s hunting decides she’s his next victim.
Die This Hour was originally published by Crimson Cloak as The 11:05 Murders. It was chosen as the solo medallist winner in The New Apple Awards for Excellence.
