Die schulische Religionspädagogik stellt dies vor eine mehrfache Herausforderung: So findet dort interkulturelle Begegnung sowohl innerhalb der eigenen Religion/Konfession statt, als auch religions- und konfessionsübergreifender Kontakt in und zwischen den Kulturen. Britta Baumert ist Junior-Professorin der Religionspädagogik unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Fachdidaktik an der Universität Vechta. Sie leitet die interdisziplinäre "Werkstatt Inklusion" des BMBF-geförderten Drittmittelprojekts BRIDGES an der Universität Vechta. Stefanie Röhll ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für katholische Theologie an der Universität Vechta.
