Cacess (Success) Jones is a loving, ambitious person who came from absolutely nothing, growing up in the Bayview Hunters’ Point in San Francisco, California. He has always been a kindhearted, caring person who has lost his way many times during his troubled life. Many people who have known him have chalked it up as him being in survival mode.
One of Cacess’ biggest attributes is his radiant, infectious smile that can lighten up a room when he enters. He has always been a creator of many art forms. Arts and crafts were his earliest demonstration of an artist. Shortly after that, rapping helped release anger, stress, and depression. This also helped him gain confidence within himself in his early years.
He started selling drugs at the age of 16 years old after telling his friends it was destroying the community at the age of 14. Raised in a drug-infested home and community, survival mode was embedded in his soul. Even when he was young, he believed his horrific experiences could become a source of revenue. So, Cacess decided to start creating stories based on the events life had thrown at him. At 19, he wrote his first screenplay called “Welcome to the Black Side.” That first script was stolen from him, and the guy who stole it was seen years later strung out on drugs. This is just one of the many heartfelt stories you may embark on if you stay with this author on his journey.
